I am so happy to be back running. People can see my smile from far away. I didn't expect for any big results; my only and main task was to run and cross the finishing line. No worries with pace or timing; I was just enjoying myself in the lovely Parkrun.
I normally race at the Dulwich Parkrun but this time I decided to try a different location; Brockwell Park and it's hills.
I finished in 100th place and were the 82nd male out of a field of 246 park runners and I came 5th in my age category VM40-44. It was not too bad. Of course, from now on the objective is to work hard to improve my results and reach my goals and targets.
After cross the finishing line
I will be back on training with my local club (Herne Hill Harries) this week. I will make sure I will add my training schedule in my next post.
246 runners in total. Not bad for a cloudy and cold Saturday
I wish a lovely week to all of you. Train hard and have fun.
Let's Run and Smile!
